2010 meet rules

1. Meet is governed by the games committee in accordance with USATF rules.

2. The designated warm-up area will be the warm-up track located at the southeast end of the stadium. Competitor's with competitor's numbers and coaches with coach's passes are the only persons allowed in the warm-up area.

3. All non-competing athletes, coaches and parents must stay off the infield.

4. All athletes competing in running events must check in at the Clerk's Circle ( located under the score board) at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their running event. After the Check-in is closed for a running event, heats will be formed and the athletes will be escorted to the starting line.

Any ATHLETE failing to check-in prior to the forming of heats
will NOT be allowed to participate in that running event

NO EXCEPTIONS

5. Only Starting Blocks provided by the University of Oregon will be used.

6. Official Field Event Implements for the meet will NOT be provided. Please remember that in youth athletics that the Javelin does NOT lose it's identity, so the owner has the right to not allow the use of it during competition. Implements must be checked in and weighed by the technical referee at least 90 minutes prior to the start of the event.

7. All relay batons will be provided by Track City Track Club.

8. All running events will advance by place and time except for timed finals.

9. Awards may be picked up as soon as the results have been posted.

10. Seeding will be in accordance with USATF Rule #303.

11. Protests concerning the status or eligibility of an entrant must be made to the Meet Director. Protests relating to matters which develop during competition proper must be made in writing at the Meet Headquarters (located in the SE corner of the field) with a $50 fee to the Meet Referee. A full refund will be made if the protest is upheld.

12. Age divisions and event limitations are according to USATF rule #240. Competitors must compete in their own age division ONLY.

Submission of falsified or altered documents will result in disqualification of the athlete and if it occurs on two or more athletes from a club, the entire team will be disqualified.

Athletes in these age groups may compete in a maximum of three (3) events
(including relays and field events).

Youth, Intermediate, and Young Women/Men
Athletes in these age groups may compete in a maximum of four (4) events
(including relays and field events).
